Daily Journal: Day 5
Day 5 – July 27th
So tonight I went to Texas Theater to watch, The Dark Knight Rises. I had to use the iPhone because I totally forgot to bring my camera. Anyways, I didn’t like the movie. I’m sorry. The first half was cool but the second half (when he gets thrown in the pit) was too ridiculous for me. Plus its too hard to root for cops. Just for the record, I love Batman. He’s hands down my favorite super hero. I just dislike this movie.
Anyways, after the movie we went straight to the studio. Shout outs to Valley of the King Studios btw. Everything you hear on In and Out of Sleep will be recorded there. Oh yeah but before the studio we had to stop at Whataburger first. Jose Gomez ordered a ton of the chicken bites and they were awesome.
So we tracked out two songs tonight. JC Money came to drop a verse for a song that he’s featured on. Its so awesome. I think you guys are going to really dig his verse. Its a classic JC Money feature. Then we tracked out another one (video above) that I just finished today. The song actually took me three months to finish. It wasn’t even like…I’d pick it up every five or six days…I actually tried to write to it everyday. Anyways, it felt so good to finally get it finished. I can’t wait till you guys can finally hear it on October 9th.
